Founder, Head Trainer - Steve Fishkin

Steve Fischkin is the owner and head trainer at Impact Boot Camp. Steve began his journey into the fitness world at a very early age. Steve grew up in New Jersey and began weight training at age 14. What began as an outlet for this shy 8th grader teenager looking to build his self-esteem quickly became Steve life’s passion. Within two years of his first workout session, he was the second-ranked powerlifter in his age class and weight class in the entire state of New Jersey. 6 months later he won the national championships and a gold medal in the Junior Olympics. After his gold medal performance, Steve continued competing in powerlifting and bodybuilding competitions for five years. However, in the years after transitioning from competition into his career, Steve realized that his very grueling schedule had cost him the balance he valued in his life and threatened to lead to burnout.
 
He had gained 100 pounds due to injuries, work stress, and loss of the discipline and focus that took him from his first day with a local trainer to the Junior Olympics. One day, Steve received a wake-up call that changed his life. After a routine physical, his doctor informed him that he needed to make some immediate changes or risk long-term health problems due to his weight gain from his competition days. This was the beginning of Steve’s journey back into the world of fitness and personal training, with one dream for himself and others: get in shape and, more importantly, stay in shape! Through hard work and with a renewed passion for fitness, Steve has made this dream possible for himself and people around him. He has already lost 80 of the 100 pounds he originally added, regained solid physical conditioning, achieved balance in all areas of his life through some great people that had mentored him over the years, and will return to competition in 2012.
 
While transforming his own life and body, Steve successfully coached people from all walks of life who were looking to lose weight, build lean muscle, eat healthier, and achieve a greater sense of well being. This transformation inspired Steve to start Impact Bootcamp, which specializes in: Teaching workouts that combine resistance training, cardio, and obstacle courses that will help you speed up your metabolism and burn fat. Working with you to develop a long-term strategy to help you keep the weight off for good! Steve’s commitment to you is to provide the most motivating, effective workouts you have ever experienced while helping you shed body fat quickly and safely. This commitment extends beyond exercise alone – we will teach you how to eat right and use food correctly to burn fat. As Steve has learned from his continuing journey, sometimes all we need in life is some tough love and encouragement to make exercise fun, and creative! We all dream of living a long, healthy life. You owe it to yourself to do your best to fulfill that dream. As Steve has learned, it’s not always easy. But, every day at Impact Bootcamp, Steve will work with you and provide you the knowledge, attention, and support to help you make that dream a reality.


Trainer - Lori

Once weighing 180 lbs Lori took matters into her own hands and slowly started to transform her body and lifestyle.  Through the process of educating and motivating herself she found her passion for fitness. After several years of improving her own lifestyle she decided to get her certification with NASM and become a Certified Personal Trainer. It is this amazing lifestyle transformation and Lori's passion that enable her to help clients of all fitness levels to achieve their full potential. She is a proud veteran trainer at Scott's Training Systems. Lori is also the former STS representative with the Weight Loss Institute of Arizona. Lori spoke monthly at the support groups and developed group training specifically to help educate and motivate them.
